Hey guys! This post is long overdue. LOL. Below you’ll find my review and swatches of the Peripera Ink Airy Velvet and Ink Airy Velvet Stick along with my thoughts on these two lip products. Let’s jump in!
Peripera Ink Airy Velvet + Ink Airy Velvet Stick Review
Peripera Ink Airy Velvet
First up is the Ink Airy Velvet! If you’ve noticed, this variant has a new clean-looking and minimalist design compared to its predecessor. The container is also now frosted and you can see the actual shade of the tint inside.
Thoughts:
This lip tint has a creamy texture, has the same airy, cotton-like feel, and doesn’t dry my lips. It has a slight fragrance and taste which doesn’t bother me at all.
The Ink Airy Velvet is available in various colors. The one I bought was Hot Spot Red.
Peripera Ink Airy Velvet Stick
Next, we have the Ink Airy Velvet Stick. I actually like to use this more often as I can just directly swipe it on my lips. It also has a minimalist design which looks super cute.
Thoughts:
This one has a light, semi-matte finish and doesn’t crack up my lips. It’s very light, soft, just like a marshmallow. You’ll know when you apply it yourself! This one has a faint scent too and again, it’s not bothersome. I say this as someone who’s very sensitive to smell and fragrances.
The Peripera Ink Airy Velvet Stick also comes in a variety of colors, perfect for daily wear and pulling off the MLBB look.
Swatches
On the top is the Peripera Ink Airy Velvet in Hot Spot Red. Below is the Peripera Ink Airy Velvet Stick in Burnt Tangerine. Both variants are buildable if you want a deeper look.
Above is how these are like after smudging or rubbing them off aggressively. The original Ink Airy Velvet obviously stays more on than the stick variant, also because of its tint nature and dark shade.
I use both alternately depending on what look or mood I want to achieve. I would definitely repurchase these and in other colors too!
