[Honest Review][JOLSE] Keep in Touch White Blending Base Cushion
I’m back with a new K-beauty product review and this time, lovely folks from Jolse.com sent me this cushion to try it out. <3
It’s the Keep in Touch White Blending Base Cushion in shade 02 Ivory Warm. It claims to moisten, brighten, and cover skin issues so let’s find out! I’ve been using BB cushions since 2013 and since then, many variations have come out like this one, which incorporates skin care and makeup.
Important: Please take note that although they sponsored the product, I am writing my thoughts about it honestly, like what I do for EVERY review post to help you know more from a tester’s perspective and ultimately reach a decision for yourself.
Keep in Touch White Blending Base Cushion
Things you should know:
This cushion is a combination of two bases:
- Whitening Moisture Base
- infused with White5-Vitamin Complex and Camellia Japonica Seed Oil
- brightens skin
- hyrdrates
- prevents irritation
- Color Cover Base
- conceals blemishes and enlarged pores
- evens skin tone and texture
- has SPF 50+ PA+++
It comes in shades 01 Ivory Pure, 02 Ivory Warm, and a recent addition, 03 Natural Beige.
Packaging
- It looks okay
- Nothing too fancy
- The print reminds me of the “EMO” era. Haha
- Looks similar to most cushions out there in the market right now
- Looks clean because of the white packaging
- I like how you can lock in the puff holder/divider thingy. See image below:
Puff
- Soft and smooth but
- The top part makes it feel hard
- Not that flexible
- It just feels uncomfortable using it. You can also try using other puffs, of course.
On to the cushion…
The white side of the swirl is the Whitening Moisture Base while the darker one is the Color Cover Base.
Apparently, this shade is too white for me so I will be testing it on my hand for now.
As you can see, I have freckles/dark spots on my hands and it really covered the spots and whitened my left hand. I’m impressed. The finish was dewy and kinda shiny(?) in person. It’s not sticky but it transfers. It feels light on the face and I noticed a mild cooling effect when putting it on. It also has a slight fragrance like any other cushion.
The shade 02 Ivory Warm is too white for me and I think 03 Natural Beige would be better.
If you are aiming to whiten/brighten, moisten your skin while having a nice coverage, you should consider this Keep In Touch White Blending Base Cushion. It does what it claims.
